AV Technician

Cornucopia AV have partnered with a Global Language Service Provider who are currently looking to bring on audio-visual Talent on a freelance and permanent basis.  They are currently looking for an AV Technician to join their event teams!

Events can range from internal meetings and interviews, to Parliamentary proceedings and meetings, to high profile international events.

• Setup and run AV and Interpretation Equipment – includes Bosch, Televic, Taiden, Sennheiser, etc
• Assist in driving company vans to and from events
• Loading and unloading vans both onsite and at warehouse
• Prepping, testing and troubleshooting technical equipment
• As equipment is often interpretation specific training and supervision will be provided but progression to being able to install, operate and derig AV and Interpretation Equipment without supervision is expected.
• Able to handle/lift heavy and large equipment (in line with manual handling operation legislation)

Preferred Skills;

• Experience interpretation sector
• Exposure to Network & IP fundamentals and/or Audio/Visual Equipment
• Driver experience of vans or large wheel base vehicles

As this role is in the events industry, there are often early and late finishes and some weekend work.

Isleworth based but regular travel required around London and 2 times a month around the country
